Make running to work tax-free
The UK population is less active than it has ever been and obesity is at record levels. The Government can help create social change and incentivise people to get fit and healthy by running to work, reducing pollution and congestion on public transport.
Legislation enabling employers to offer tax-free Run to Work schemes would save people over £100 a year on the costs of running shoes and safety equipment. Cycling to work is tax free and more than half a million people have joined tax-free schemes. So why isn’t running to work?
